About Me

I am currently the Honors Thesis Advisor at Pace University. I have taught at the high school and college level. 

 

I majored in English at Pace University and then received an M.A. in English from New York University. After discovering that my true passion was teaching and not research, I went back to school and got my Master of Arts in Teaching. Since 2009, I have taught 8th, 9th, 10th, and 12th grades. Most recently, I have been teaching at the college level and tutoring students of all ages.

 

My educational philosophy is based on considering the whole student: what he or she likes, his or her strengths and weaknesses, his or her temperament. By considering all of those things I connect with the student and this helps them to do their best work for me.
